How far do you travel from Consett?

Do you fit internal doors?

No. We fit external doors only — front doors, back doors, French doors, patio sliders and bifolds. Internal doors and joinery inside the house aren't something we take on.

Can I have just one window replaced?

Yes. Plenty of our work is a single window, a misted unit or one back door rather than a whole house. Give us a ring and we'll price it up the same way.

What's the difference between composite and uPVC doors?

A composite door has a solid core with a tough outer skin, so it's heavier, better insulated and harder to force than a standard uPVC door. It costs more up front and generally holds its finish for longer. We'll talk you through both when we measure up.

Do you take the old frames away?

Yes, removal and disposal of the old frames and glass is included, and we make good the sills and reveals before we leave.

How long does a job take?

A single door or window is usually a few hours. A full house of windows is typically one to two days depending on the number of openings and access. We'll give you a realistic timescale with the quote.
